Hadnt seen a thread about this yet. Judging by the videos on YT about it the news just dropped today. Looks interesting. A lot of features for the price point
Same here looks like a Ruger version of the Taurus G3cI just got the newsletter e-mail about 2 minutes ago.

If they price them rightThey'll sell a million of em.
Why not just buy the full grip 17 round gun to start with, if that's how you are going to carry it?I want the ability to have a 17rd+ mag with it. So it will fit my hand. Like the G2c and G3c they can use Sig P226 mags which extend the grip and fit my hand much better.
Because it doesn't have a 3" barrel. Smaller and lighter. My 10mm 1911 just barely gives me full grip. The smallest I have is the shield 45 with the 7rd magazine. I don't have a full grip but close enough to shoot well with it.Why not just buy the full grip 17 round gun to start with, if that's how you are going to carry it?
I threw the 10 round grip module for my P365 in a drawer somewhere long ago and only carry it with the XL grip module. I don't know why I would buy a stubby grip gun, then stick a long mag with a spacer in the mag well.
I think these companies are trying to make a gun like the Taurus G2c and G3c. I believe Taurus came out with this style of pistol first. 12rd mag 3" barrel. This looks very promising.
Seems like this is the new type of handgun everyone is trying to copy. Stupidly high-capacity subcompact 9mms.
First Sig with the 365, then Springfield with the Hellcat, Glock with the 43x, S&W just announced the Shield Plus, and now Ruger. Maybe others too.
Personally I like these types of guns and Ruger has excellent customer service so I'm optimistic. Tritium/fiber optic sight and direct red dot mounting is a win. Versions with and without safeties is a win. If they can manage to price it under 450ish retail so people can find them for under 400, I think it'll be a hit.
