RIP Harry Volkman

Anyone who grew up in NWI or Chicagoland saw many of Harry's weather forecasts. One of the greatest weather men ever. RIP Harry, you were awesome!

I grew up in Rensselaer and remember Harry.

Oh no! I saw him do the weather standing on his head once when I was a kid. Last time I saw him was in 2003 while visiting San Diego. I was surprised to see him still on the air. Rest in peace Harry.

I went to Edison Middle School in Hammond. He came to our school for a visit. He showed the boutineer, that our class gave him, on that evening's news. I remember thinking it was pretty cool.
