He was crazy as a loon. Great actor, he had me fooled for years that he supported family values, and had pride in nation.

Andy brought me a lot of laughs and taught me a lot of lessons growing up in the 60s. He will be missed.

He was a huge liberal who made lots of money playing to conservative values. Ironic in so many ways.

You guys are literally going to miss someone who hasn't been in the news for years? I hadn't thought of him since the stupid ObamaCare ads

While Andy was a Liberal in real life the lessons he taught millions of us growing up were of Conservative values. His shows always showed the good in people and that doing the right thing is not always easy but the right thing to do. Look at some of John Wayne's beliefs and values. :twocents:

    My condolences.

That said, I knew he was beginning to lose his faculties when he came out with the commercial telling us how wonderful Obamacare is.

He provided me and my family with hours of entertainment and laughs. I am truly sad he has passed. My condolences to his family.

Andy's politics and beliefs be damned.

When I get home tonight, I'm having an Andy Griffith Show marathon tonight. I'm even going to place an order for some Matlock DVD's.

A great man/actor has been lost. And the day I have kids and grand kids, they will all grow up watching The Andy Griffith Show, just like I did.

RIP Andy. I grew up watching the repeats of that show as a kid and to this day that is and will always be one of my favorite TV shows. :rockwoot:

Still watch repeats when on. He was a team player for Don Knotts, who he befriended for ever. All the cast were believeable from Otis to Aunt Bee.
    Great actor gone.
