This a pretty new gun but i wanted to see what it was worth. It is a Marlin Lever action 30-30

Not sure the specifics on your gun. Gun broker is a good place to check price, in my opinion.

Most seem to be $400-600.

Depends if it is JM stamped or not. Also, does it have the original box and all corresponding paperwork?

Gold trigger represents a "Limited Edition".
As stated above, look for the JM stamp. It would be located on the left side of the barrel just in front of the receiver. It's a small stamp, and not always clear, but it will either be stamped JM or REM.
The JM stamps command a higher price.

Where did you come up with gold trigger meaning limited edition?

REP stands for a Remington produced gun, so it will ultimately be "worth" less than a JM stamped Marlin.
