the show is a joke. the owner is a douche. the weapons they produce are junk. and the employees, are useless. 1700 for their 1911? i would not give them 100 dollars for it. you want a 1911 custom. buy a cheap ria and build it the way you want it, then discovery will show up at your door and offer you a tv show.

If I were going to spend $1700 on a 1911 I would go to an established 1911 builder like Ed Brown, Les Baer, Wilson Combat, Nighthawk, STI, etc. I wouldn't go to a television show that decided last week they want to jump in on the 1911 market.

But that's just me.
