    It worked good for us this time, the Class 3 vote worked the opposite. Last year around midnite one night, I watched dozens of amendments voted on in the Senate when there was but one [1] Senator in the chamber. That's right sports fans, one and only one Senator compromised the voice vote. That was an interesting bit of political education on my part to say the least!

    Exactly my point. The fact that it worked for us this time doesn't make it right. The legislation they pass is far too important to be racing through willy-nilly and with only one Senator voting on them. I am their boss and I demand that they be held accountable for the way they vote, or accountable for being too busy doing other things to show up for work.

    I felt the same way when the National Park Carry Act was piggy backed onto the credit card reform bill. I guess if politics are dirty, better to have the dirtiest ones on your side but it is such a shame the way that our laws are handled.
