Howdy guys. I picked up 2 eclectic cars recently and am looking to restore them. One of them is a low mileage classic car that only needs paint. I'm looking to see if you guys have a recommendation for painters and what price range I should expect. It's a 1996 Daihatsu midget 2, so it's about the size of a golf cart. Paint is really the only thing this car needs, as it only has 230Km on the clock!
The second car needs a lot more work. It's a 1995 toyota cab-over-engine work truck. It needs to be reupholstered, as well as paint. The big deal with the truck is that it probably needs a frame-off or rotisserie-style restoration to get rid of rust. The rust isn't terrible, but this truck has been used and I'd like to build it from the ground up as a part-utility-part-overlanding truck. The paint on this truck isn't as important, and it doesn't need to be concours ready, but I'd like to get rid of all of the rust and get the frame coated/painted.
Any tips are welcome. I'll get some more pictures of both of them soon.
