We had just about the same thing here in the U.S. of A. after the Boston Bombing.
The police in the (forgot the town name) where the younger Bomber hid. They went o every house. the knocked or kicked in the doors. At Gun point they made every Male in the residency place their hands over their head. At Gun point the resident had to submit to body search. Then they had to leave their residence unwillingly and submit to more searches.
Then their residence was searched.
NO SEARCH WARRANTS were issued or displayed.
I read that the RCMP said that they'd return the guns when the residents were allowed back into town and showed PROOF OF OWNERSHIP. Canada had enacted nat'l registration of all long-guns and there was overwhelming civil disobediance. How many of these people will get arrested when they come to claim their guns, even though Canada repealed it's registration boondoggle about a year ago?
