Rainier Arms Raptor, who has one?

One of the things I don't prefer on an AR, because of being left handed, is the charging handle. Has anyone tried one of these out?

I almost jumped on a slightly used one over the weekend but hesitated and it was gone. I'm right handed but prefer to have the rifle set up for ambi a much as possible. I'll pick one up eventually unless reviews aren't favorable.

Thanks. I have always just adapted to the gun, but now am considering making life easier.

Not sure about that. BCM doesn't have an ambi one, do they?

I've got one. Its built pretty solid and functions great.

The BCM GunFighter Mod4 was my favorite until I bout one of these. I won't be replacing all of my BCM's but the Raptor will be the ones I buy from now on.

I don't think they do, i just meant if the raptor was as stout as a BCM medium latch one...Like, will the neck bend a bunch and cause friction like some OEM charging handles?

That ch handle looks awesome. It'd be great for a shtf or survival rifle as it looks like it would double as an ice axe.

Well I come from the suck it up crowd. I run a BCM so I can be rougher on repeated racks. The upside is that the same muscle memory will cross over to other rifles with stock charging handles/other designs. Same thing as when I put an ambi selector on and still find myself sweeping the left side under stress. It's what I'm conditioned to do.
Plus if you don't buy the Rainier, you'll have extra for that SRS.
