Ok. So I heard today that you technically need a AR lower stamped with a "multi" call on it to be legal if you put a .22 conversion in it. Is this true? I was thinking about doing an 80% lower and the same guy told me it needed to be stamped with the "multi" on it if I wanted to switch it up. Any thoughts?

The person who told you this is a moron.

I suggest you find him and tell him that he is a moron, and the entire interwebs knows as well.
