I have been having some interference on HF lately and just thought it was atmospheric. Well come to find out, it was the wall charger for my cell phone

I have found that switching power supplies for electronics are extremely noisy. Makes one long for the days of the inefficient and dirty wall cubes...

Crummy electrolytic filter capacitors (high equivalent series resistance) rampant in these charger cubes . . . glorified noise makers, in my opinion. Good linear power supply plus current limiting circuitry works better, if you've got the time to monkey therewith
