Saw this on another forum, had to try it. I love my Preon 2, with one exception; it is very sensitive with the factory tail switch, and I would find it turned on and very hot in my pocket.
Solution: new rubber cap courtesy of the Streamlight Microstream.
The new Streamlight comes with an extra one - which, side note, this is a very affordable, awesome light.
Makes the switch very resistant to pocket on. I usually carry a larger tactical switch light so having the smaller light be a little tough is perfectly ok with me.
After handling the Streamlight, I think I will probably switch my new tail cap on the Preon 2 to a Preon 1 body to get a similar form size.
