Well, I don't know about a favorite gun movie, but the wife and I just got back from watching the latest James Bond, Skyfall, and there's Bond, carrying his wittle Walther chatting it up with some gal at a bar, commenting on the Beretta 70 she has strapped to her thigh. What's the British fascination with the low power and small caliber rounds? I know the original Bond started out with the Walther, but couldn't these new ones step it up a bit?
Makes me ashamed to be half-British.
If we're gonna go Westerns, then I throw Silverado into the mix.

Deputy: That them shootin'?
Sheriff: No, it's coming from those rocks.
Deputy: Well, let's go. He ain't hittin' nothin'.
Sheriff: You idiot, he's hit everything he's aimed at!
Deputy: Well, they ain't out of our jurisdiction 'til they reach the flattop.
[Sheriff's hat is shot off his head]
Sheriff: Today, my jurisdiction ends here. Pick up my hat.
