I didn't care so much about seeing the old thread or boosting post count, more that a real new person may not get that friendly INGO welcome :)

A question. Why would it matter?
Why would any member here say "I'm not going to bother saying
hello because it won't increase my post count"
I know, I know, some would and that sucks, but with any group this
large you're going to have some issues with that :bs:

I do say hello when I think about it or when I see someone in the
same area of the state I'm in. I've maybe posted there 1/2 dozen times.

MAN! You play for keeps! :rockwoot:
The way I see it our boys over there really are playing for keeps. Anything I can do to support or help them out even if its to have myself and son sit here for 2 hours repetitively post whoring to give them a little snap. Well its all worthwhile in my opinion..

What was actually sent was my moms chocolate chip cookies 4 boxes of Swiss cake rolls 1 bottle of Old Grand Dad 1 Bottle of Jack Daniels and 1 bottle of Jim Beam. I also included a hustler magazine and a video of questionable origin...:D

Two things 1) how in the heck did that package slip through and get to our troops. (I tried to send my brother inlaw a couple of playboys and he got reprimanded) and 2) If a little post whoreing got a great care package send to our boys in the sandbox I'll deal with it. WHORE ON. And God Bless our Troops

That's not what I was saying at all. I was saying that a real new member's thread could slip through the cracks and not get a warm welcome. Nothing about people stop saying hi because it doesn't count.

Ok, so, to wrap things up:

some people think posts should not count in the Intro forum.
other people learned that having fun with a friend can disrupt the lives of 3000 hoosiers.
other people think post counts don't matter at all.

At the end of the day, we're all friends and certified gun nuts.

Happy Monday, people. You've got five minutes left of the day. Enjoy them! :D

As the guy who got to spend the last hour cleaning up and resetting the Intro forum let me remind you guys of something.

I'm sure this was a funny thing to do. I'm sure people got some good laughs out of it. The problem is that only 2 guys got to laugh, while 2,998 other members got confused, and then started welcoming people that signed up 2 months ago. It also didn't give them a chance to welcome the "actual" newbies, as their posts got lost in the mix.

Keep in mind that what you post here on the forums does indeed affect others, in many different ways. We like jokes and we like to laugh. But just make sure that the majority of us are all in on the joke next time.
