I share the protester's frustration.
16 U.S.C. § 668 et seq. prohibits, among other things, destroying the egg of an eagle. A violation of the Act can result in a fine of $100,000 ($200,000 for organizations), imprisonment for one year, or both, for a first offense. Penalties increase substantially for additional offenses, and a second violation of this Act is a felony [citation].
Unborn eagles have more protection under US Law than unborn children do. I'm sure that the protester expressed his outrage of that on the back of his sign? #UnplannedParenthood
