There hasnt been gold in there for years...just another covered up mess I would say. Then again maybe they just have crazy amounts and have been hoarding it continually for a rainy day. You know there are people out there that believe we mine gold for aliens in some kind of twisted deal.

according to some quick math the value of fort knox is approx $245 billion. wouldn't even make a scratch in the deficit, let alone gov spending.
