    The Perfect Quote

Some people have the vocabulary to sum up things in a way that you can quickly understand them. This quote came from the Czech Republic . Someone over there has it figured out. It was translated into English from an article in the Prague newspaper, Prager Zeitungon.

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the prince of fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their President.”

And it's nothing new to most of us. In fact, I believe that more than a few of us have pointed out that very thing more than a few times.

Sad but true. The only way to change this direction is to raise our children and influence any other children in our lives to understand what is wrong with our country as a whole today.

Dont think it matters who the potus is, the U.S. will still be THE BEATCH OF ISREAL.

I seems to me that as a friend and ally we are only marginally better than Israel's enemies. Hardly makes a case for the notion they are pulling puppet strings.

Yea, the OP is true, but most of the fools have been fooled by our media and George Soros, into supporting communism and socialism, without even knowing it. All we really need is some McCarthyism in the media, and we can unbrainwash the fools.

Wow ... however, I must disagree. Many people voted for Mr Obama due to "white guilt" or maybe "Bush Fatigue." In any event, I will withhold judgement on the electorate until after the next election. If we re-elect that man, the above quote sadly applies to our once great nation.

Like a drug addicted society, we are addicted to OPM (other peoples money) and addicted to forcing others to behave in a manor we wish them to (we think its for their own good of course) using the force of government.

We are like drug addicts, addicted to big government. And like drug addicts, we must hit rock bottom before we will all truly see the error of our thinking. The republic is already dead from this behavior, along with the constitution. We can only hope that a tiny ember for the love of liberty still burns when the socialist house of cards structure that has been growing for generations crashes down upon us or our children.

I think the OP really nailed it. Regardless of whatever reason someone pulled the lever for BHO, the fact remains they put this POS in the top spot.

It goes even further back, the electorate gave us Clinton x2, Bush x2, and now BHO. Moving ahead, this electorate is going to give us either BHO again or Romney. The symptoms of what is wrong in this country continue on for another four years regardless of this outcome.

The established power structure is only offering up these candidates. To change this we have to regroup and take these power brokers "Out of power" and I am just not sure how we do this. This group is not elected or selected but need to be rejected. No pun intended it just fell out like that. It is established and we are the puppets.

Let's look at your remarks from a slightly different perspective. We got Clinton1 because the Democrat-controlled Congress lied to Bush41 and got him to agree to raise taxes without their coming through with promised spending cuts. We got Clinton2 because the Republicans picked a lousy candidate who ran a lackluster campaign "because it was his turn". We got Bush43 because the alternative was "Uncle Al (Gore) the Environment's Pal" and because Bush43 caused us to strike back at the terrorists who killed 3k people on our soil AND because most of us perceived John Kerry to be the pacifistic leftist that he is. We got BHO primarily because the Republicans picked another lousy candidate "because it was his turn". If McCain hadn't been such a dickhead and done just about EVERYTHING wrong that he possibly could have done wrong, there was an even chance that we could have been stuck with a mediocre President McCain instead of a horrendously bad President Obama.
