If the Republican leadership would get some of the e-mails I'm getting about Dan Coats and his consideration of running for senate against Bayh, it should become obvious that Coats is as popular as spent uranium. No one in our circles want him in their backyard.
Sometimes I wonder if the Republican party gets it yet. I see it in national races and I see it in state races. Is it going to be a situation of being so close and yet so far away?
