um well, i've used mine at least three times, the first, when the big ice storm of 07, i had to use mine and my daughters to tie down the trunk (i didn't have any bungee cords) so our generator wouldnt fall out, the second, when my gf was moving in with me, we ran out of bungees(i'm starting to see a trend here) and we tied up her mirror to the side of the moving truck, and the third time was at a marching band competition, when one of the flag girls forgot the strap for her glasses, i almost had to use at another band thing, when a cable broke that was holding up the chimes.

in fact i feel naked without a paracord bracelet on my wrist(in fact ive got a "farmers tan" from it)

ami i now offically "that guy"?

Nah... sounds like you need to ask Santa for one of those trendy kits in the OP though......... :):

I use to make them all the time when I was in the service. Thats the only time they were cool. I made about 30 for my wife to sell at her craft show plain OD with a OD button none of that fancy high tech stuff. She even made a sign saying these were Vet made using only the finest in military technology. Sold a few but haven't made any more once they become too mainstream.
