For years I thought that for a Chicago-style pan pizza, Union Jack was THE pizza in Indianapolis. That is until I had one from Ale Emporium.
I like them both, but Ale Emporium, I think, has the edge overall. Great crust, a good sauce that isn't too sweet, quality toppings, and more cheese than should be allowed by law (e.g. the waitress told me that that she won't even ring up an order for extra cheese because they can't get all of it to melt without ruining the rest of the pizza).
Let's limit the discussion to the Indy area, including Carmel/Zionsville, Noblesville, Avon/Plainfield, and Greenwood. Agree? Disagree? Have another favorite (besides the Chicago originals like Gino's and Lou's)???
