After watching a few YouTube videos I decided to try painting the lettering on my Glocks. I think they turned out pretty good. (Better than the cell phone picture).

I cleaned it with alcohol first then coverd it with cheap nail polish. After it dried (about 15 min.) I wiped off the excess with paper towel and non acetone polish remover.

I used a white crayon, like filling in the dice from the old Dungeons & Dragons red box. Same result, probably less durable.

I did the slide of my G19 in orange. It took about 8 applications until I got it fully filled in. I would not recommend getting the cheapest polish you can find. That's what I did and it was pretty thin and watery. I couldn't really get the etching on the barrel to fill in at all, despite applying multiple coats.

Get the thick stuff and give it to your wife or gf when done.
