Ordering alcohol online...

I cannot find a bottle of Oban 14 locally for the life of me, so im looking for a site online to purchase it. Any suggestions?

Good thing i live in Virginia . Bad thing is the gov't took over and only gov't run ABC stores sell liquor (at least here in Alexandria).

I think it depends on the state you buy from. I've had cases of wine delivered to my house from Cal. Some other states won't do it.

Some wineries you have to have your info on file for them to send. That being said some wineries can sent across certain state lines because of taxes. Most of MI, where i do most of my wine shopping, they need a copy of your info on file. I would suspect distilleries would be the same way. If there is something that I can find or get, going to the local liquor/wine store they can usually order the stuff in for you. Mind also that different have different distributors that can get what you need. It took me 2 different wine stories before I could find a place to get me a certain Cab Franc from Sonoma Valley winery. Sometimes they do ask that you buy more than just one bottle also.

^ This. When I worked in a liquor store we had a book that had all kinds of oddball things. It was expensive to order it in compared to stocking it but I wouldn't see why they couldn't.

Yes, but Scotch is definitely not in state!

Ask around at various stores - they should be able to special order thing for you, most do.
