I want to talk a big SawZall to CommieFornia, and just cut around the border, then give it a big outward push!

    From Wikipedia...

Nonetheless, the 2008 Uniform California Earthquake Rupture Forecast (UCERF) has estimated that the probability of an M ≥ 6.7 earthquake within the next 30 years on the northern and southern segments of the San Andreas fault as 21% and 59%, respectively.

Only 24 years left but since the world ends in 57 sorry you won't get to see CA's earthquake.:D;)

I hope its an ending i can defend myself from, and not something like a star exploding sending out a massive solar flare that wipes all life out

Well all they actually say is that's the last day on the Mayan Calendar.
Maybe it just starts all over at Mayan Day 1. :dunno:

Who remembers the planets that were supposed to line up on Christmas 1982?
    Or Y2K?
Or the guy just recently who predicted the 2nd coming wrong... twice.

    Nothing new to see here.
    Move along.

:xmad: Stop bringing facts into the thread! :D
Yes the current mayan calendar ends on 12-21-2012 but a new mayan calendar (IIRC there were 20 made and we are in #13 right now) begins. To the Mayan's the end of each calendar was a big deal, a celebration of sorts. It has been the modern world that said "oh calendar ends = end of the world".

    Now back to the fun!

I heard they did the math wrong and it is either suppose to be 100 years in the future or was suppose to be 100 years in the past.
