On Target Training, Practical Concealed Carry I, October 27th

On Target Training will be conducting its Practical Concealed Carry 1 Course at the Silver Creek Conservation Club Range on Sunday October 27th from 12:00 to 4:00pm.

Practical Concealed Carry I:
PCC I (4 hours) $75

Course Objectives:
This concealed handgun course will begin with a basic skills assessment and introduce practical skills and concepts including:
Mindset
Drawing from Concealment
Close Range Engagement Techniques
Single and Multiple Target Engagements
Reloads
Working Through Malfunctions

Students should bring a suitable self-defense handgun in a minimum caliber of 9mm./.38 special. There is no prerequisite for this course, however students should be able to demonstrate proficiency in the function and use of their firearm. A Strong-Side Only Belt holster, concealment garment such as a jacket or vest, two spare magazines and 200 rounds of practice ammunition will be needed.

Above is my AAR from the class, and some thoughts. If you are comfortable with your marksmanship and need a fast introduction to martial gun handling and self-defense topics, this is a good place to go. He squeezes a fair bit of stuff in to 4 hrs.

We can carpool down. I will have to make a side trip though. My Grandma left her glasses at the Pines yesterday. So I have to pick those up today and drop them off at the farm.

Powder and I got back from Sellersburg. I thought it was well worth my time and money to make the trip down to see Steve and Chris. I took notes this time and hope to get an AAR up sometime soon.

Had a beautiful day for training. Really enjoyed having Vert, Powder , and sister of Vert in the class.

Certainly was a beautiful day, let alone for training! Was a good experience with Steve and Chris, plus my fellow students. I was able to take away a few new tricks to improve my way of thinking and my handling of my firearms. Looking forward to reading VERT's AAR & possibly writing my first for INGO.
