That 1957 is fantastic! I've owned several Blackhawks and Super Blackhawks through the years. Only centerfire SA I have now is a 1976 Blackhawk stainless . View attachment 86491
I'll play. OM Super Blackhawk. .44, NM Blackhawk .357, and NM Single-Six Convertible 22 LR/Mag currently make up my Ruger single action stable. I've had others in the past, but these 3 seem to make up a nice battery.
three50seven, those are some nice stocks on that 44. The one thing about Rugers is they put some plain stocks on them. Then again, they aren't plastic.

Thank you! They're aftermarket laminates of some sort. I bought that gun for a song. It's been bubba'd up pretty good (barrel chopped and dura-coated), but it's an unconverted old model and shoots great!.
I don't care for the original XR3 frame either. The XR3-Red and Super frame are much more comfortable. I bought an new flat top .44spl when they came out. It was a great gun, but I couldn't make myself like the grip frame.
