Indiana State has lost it's great football coach Trent Miles to Georgia State. Miles has done one of the bet coaching jobs in America turning ISU's football program into a nationally ranked Top 25 the past few seasons. Before Miles took over State had the longest losing streak in the nation and was rated the worst football program in the country. HUGE loss for ISU, Miles had been rumored to be a candidate at Western Michigan, Purdue and several others.

Purdue: A report out of Cincinnati this afternoon stated that Butch Jones will be named Purdue's head coach as early as Sunday. Our sources call this report "premature". We do expect Jones to meet with Purdue after Cincinnati finishes their season and we believe it is possible that he will be the new head coach; but don't believe that has been agreed to at this time.

Us Purdue football fans just can't catch a break. Sounded like we was going to land a VERY good coach in Butch Jones but now it sounds like we might lose him to Colorado of all places!?


Cincinnati coach Butch Jones will meet with school president Santa Ono on Tuesday about his future with the Bearcats.

Jones has interviewed at Purdue and Colorado in the past few days. Jones is expected to make a decision whether to stay at Cincinnati or take the Colorado job by Tuesday afternoon. Sources said Purdue is no longer in the running.

Imagine if Peyton would have went to San Fran, they would be almost unbeatable!

Wife and I have been Colt's fans, for years. And we still are... however, I am moreso a Peyton Manning fan and believe he and the Denver Broncos will go all the way this season.

If my expectations are correct, the Texans (AFC) will get a 1st round bye. It's entirely possible that the Broncos could face the Texans in round 2. BUT, I have a feeling that the AFC round 2 will see the Texans playing the Patriots, with the Pats winning. And I also believe the AFC Championship game will be the Pats vs the Broncos, with the Broncos going on to face Atlanta in the Super Bowl.

GO BRONCOS !!!

ETA: I also believe that Peyton will win the ESPN 'NFL Comeback Player of the Year' award.... if not the NFL MVP.
