I was watching the news yesterday and Obama talking about the financial crisis said there was going to be some major changes. He was discussing what Congress must do and he said Quote "NO MORE PORK"

From now on all that spending that gets added to bills will be referred to as BEEF.

No more pork hu? Their was an article on Yahoo! News yesterday I think in which it stated that while Obama says no more PORK he may find it very hard to cut any type of "pork" at all.

They brokwn it down by category and shows the pros-cons of attempting to cut anything. Pertty much nothing an 'really' be cut because a) some group of BO supporters will be pissed or b) it's political suicide (MEDICARE, SOCIAL SECURITY) or c) they are actualy needed (defense spending since we are in a war).

It was a very good article and he might find that while congress is DEM it won't be a friendly place to anyone that wants to cut programs. -)
