    Am I being poor correctly?

Haha yeah no **** you can't use PVS7s with a LPVO. That means active or nothing, so I picked up a Holosun LS117IR, aka the cheapest civvie laser that isn't a literal airsoft toy.

Is it heavy? Yes, yes it is, thanks for asking.

Currently taking suggestions for an alternative to the HL-X. Requires:

    -Quad rail mount
    -Significant weight savings
    -Remote switch
    -1000+ lumen
-Possible ability to swap for IR head?

I’m gonna run both white & IR, you give up too much using a vampire style head..I’ve got 100k candela white and then I’ll have a super spot IR that’s basically the same pattern as my white! Planning on going with the Z-bolt. I’m just holding off as I haven’t bought nods yet lol

Well it’s probably not gonna save you any weight, but it’s definitely gonna give the output you want. I pared an LE117IR with a goonbeam 850ir and a surefire m640dft. Candela is more important than lumens. You could save some weight by getting a surefire vampire that can go between white and IR though. Then I used a mod button for the white light and a unity taps sync for the IR and laser

Had my setup for a bit now. Decided to go straight into duals but went with Nocturn Tantos with their Daisho bridge so the pods can be separated fairly quick and run as singles.

L3 White Phos 20UA tubes, Nocturn Ind. housing purchased through Custom Night Vision out of texas, service was amazing.
Opscore SF bump, wilcox g24, peltor comtacs
11.5 I already was using as my main rig.
Went with the Mawl C1+ mostly due to the ergonomics of their switch controls.
    Surefire RC2

Once I got my helmet and nods setup I was pretty happy with the whole thing but everyone kept saying get 4D pads for your helmet and ditch the opscore suspension system and get the team wendy boa.

I personally really like the opscore suspension more than the team wendy which I have on another helmet so I didnt do that but I did pull the lux liner out and went with 4D 3/4 inch and 1 inch pads and it is an absolute game changer.

If your wondering if seeing in the dark is worth 10k...Yes. It is.

Is there anywhere near central Indiana to do some night shooting or get together?

Im not cool like you guys that know what you're doing. But I have some BNVD 1431's and would really like to get some time behind them.
