I know in the last few years a lot of manufacturers have slowed their 5.56 ammo (mostly in the M193 flavor) by 100-150 fps. I’ve seen it with Federal/American Eagle and Winchester M193. I’ve started to see Magtech M193 coming back in stock in a few places and love their 77gr and 168gr ammo (sadly both are not being produced anymore). Buffman Range has a YouTube video from 4 years ago showing an average of 3135 fps from a 16” barrel, which is good/what I’m looking for velocity wise. I was wondering if anyone has chronoed post 2017 produced Magtech M193 and if they’re still seeing similar velocities or has Magtech also downloaded their ammo.

    Thanks

Wish I could help. I haven't shot a round of factory ammo since 2008. Then it was Federal or Winchester. I buy my kids cases of PMC for birthdays and such. Then they shoot up my reloads and save the factory.
