Yet another gun that will have people waiting for weeks while the gun is off due to an QC issue. I think Taurus really needs to test their designs a little more before sending them out. My old Millenium PT145 had light strikes out the ying yang (apparently a common problem with them, as I found out).
On the plus side, a slimmer Millenium wouldnt be too bad. I liked the 24/7 series, but magazine cost and the slide thickness (for smaller dudes like me, slim=good for carry) held me back.
Caution:
I've learned from experience not to jump on the new Taurus products.
New model parts availability and warranty work are, IMO, horribly unreliable.
Miami stocks very few parts and waits on boat shipments from Brazil.
From what I could piece together from numerous conversations with
their CS, Taurus Miami gets a boatload of parts only every 3 months.
Taurus is OK, when you get one that works it's fantastic but
should you need to use the lifetime warranty it can seem like
it's taking a lifetime.
I'd resist the urge to jump on a brand new model.
I'd wait until parts are available from sources other than Taurus.
