A brand new Love's truck stop opened today on the southwest corner of the intersection of I65 & State road 25 at Lafayette.
It's a nice looking place, has a Hardee's next door, showers, laundry facilities...
It has good coffee, not that one-cup-at-a-time brewing.
They are even going to sell propane.
The Hardee's is still training staff and will open March 20th per signage.

Maybe the folks that knocked that project out in no time can help ol Walsh construction get their pet I-65 construction project done just north of there.... 7 years and counting to add a 3rd lane from mm 168 to mm 178 (started April 2016)
I was under the impression that from Indy to Lafayette on 65 there always had to be a section under construction.

    Thanks for the heads up!

I was just up that way and got gas at the Luke off 168. Very glad to have a better option in that area!
I have nothing specific against Luke, but in my opinion, you take your life in your own hands when using that stretch of St Rd 26.
I avoid it like the plague.

Hey, being a college town, they could be some young, upscale lizards. :naughty:

And they might even accept Starbucks cards as payment. LOL
Nah. I live in the general area and can tell you the houses across the road of the station fit the typical stereotype. Certainly not young upscale!!! :)
