My new Ruger BX-25 X2 mag is on the way ** Arrived - Pics Added ***

Well, I have no idea how late to the party I've been, but I just found out about Ruger's new BX-25 X2 magazine today. I know, I know, I must have been sleeping when they first came out .

In any case I happened to see that PSA had some in stock on their website. It was twice the price of a regular BX-25 and I figured it would be since it's two mags in one. I was shocked to see them in stock at any rate, but I was happy to order one because bx-25 are one thing I wish I'd have bought a few more of a few months ago.

I don't know if anyone else out is interested in knowing how well it works or not, but once I get it out for a test run I'll report back.

    That's news to me.
    Can they be seperated?
And that is a good price considering the price of the original 25 rounder.
I'm surprised they aren't sold out. Hopefully the buying craze is slowing down.

They are the BX-25 X2, the double mags, for $54.95 which is a very good, pre-panic price.

    Ruger 10/22 BX25-2 50rd Magazine RUGE90398 - Ruger 10/22 - .22LR - Rifle Magazines - Magazines - Accessories

I thought $55 was pretty reasonable. I would have bought more than one since they actually had them in stock, but at $55 each I'm going to make sure that I like them and they function correctly before I go stocking up. In either case I hope the $55 price point is a good sign of things to come. It seems like a lot of money for a 22lr magazine, but the way I'm looking at it I'd be paying that much to buy two regular bx-25's so why not save the space and try something new?

Until this morning, I didn't even know that Ruger had created this new mag. Did they just bring it out at shot show?

Just checked a couple auctions at gunbroker and wow, do I ever feel glad I bought one at $55. If a guy wanted to make a quick buck you could all that PSA had for sale and double it on gunbroker. I hope this madness ends some time reasonably soon.

So in other words they'll be sold out before suppertime.
    Crazy times we live in.

Wow, so even with all the high volume of orders that PSA has been getting lately I just got a tracking number this morning in an email. I wasn't expecting that in a week from now.

Well, it is here. I took some pictures to help give a size comparison in case anyone was wondering how it related size wise to a pair of butler creek steel lipped magazines. I also stuck the mag in my 10-22 with a folding stock to make sure all was well with the folding stock and in case someone else out there might have been wondering the same thing I took some more pictures.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to do anything other than load it and hold it. I'm hoping that this weekend there'll be a quick trip out back and I can run some mag dumps. Hopefully the pictures help.

As a side note, as I type this the first post I made says six days ago. PSA processed my order extremely fast and I am very pleased by that.

I ordered one, package showed up yesterday. To my disapointment they shipped me a BX-25, not the BX-25 X2.

I sent them an email. Hopefully they will refund the difference and I can keep this one.

That looks really good. I have a couple of the BX-25's I'd love to have that mag, but instead of having to flip it, have it just feed all 50 at once....reliably
