Nice... you need to change the name of that shop to Diamond Collision and Gunsmithing
If only.

That 10 does leave a lasting impression doesn't it ?
I did take this out and shoot it Friday. I thought I might get lucky and not have to do much more but no such luck.
So far I spent 4 hours getting a rough assembly together. Between last night and this morning I have spent another 7- 8 hours on this for a total of 12 hours.
I should have my "real" grips by Tuesday but I expect this to be 99.9% done on the next range trip.
I did a bunch more fitting and some polishing and paint and here it is.
Blending the Bobtail:
Thumb Safety Before
Thumb Safety after
Extended Slide release and Safety got the same shave down
Painting controls
Baking Slide and frame
I will be at the range later today
Okay...that's pretty impressive. Now I want one in .357SIG!
Is that frame stainless or steel? If it's stainless, would polishing it give it enough 'finish' to look good (I am just partial to stainless pistols!) If I could get one in .357SIG, and make it look that good...I would get one!
sweet gun, are the fusion kits made of machine or forged parts?
What size barrel is that?
Pretty cool. I didn't realize they sold them to you in a kit for you to assemble. Thanks for sharing!
