Well I was in Indiana for a few days and so I headed up to Anderson to visit with my grandparents.
They are getting ready to move into a Condo so they have been going through all their belongings and have started to give/gift/throw out all the stuff that they no longer are going to keep. Over the past couple of years I have inherited my grandpa's single shot .22 and my other great grandpa's single shot 12 ga.
Anyways, this trip my grandpa told me to follow him into the other room. I do and he pulls this out of the safe and hands it to me.
Don't know too much about it other than it was my grandpa's fathers Beretta 32Auto and it is date stamped 1947.
He said it has been in the safe untouched for 20 or 30 years. I dropped the mag out and it is loaded, but none in the chamber. It also had a partial box of ammo.
Looks like a 50 count box of fmj's were at one point $5.00.
Anyone have any insight on these or shot one? I'm going to take it to a shop and have it check out and be sure its safe to fire. If so, I am going to shoot the rounds and are in the mag to test first hand the mag spring story.
