I took my niece's son shooting about a year ago. We went through the 4 safety rules before going to the range and he did very well on the firing line. Yesterday I took him out again.

Driving out we went over the 4 rules again and he told me he had been practicing keeping his finger off the trigger with his nerf gun. This gave me a smile. I laughed when he said his friends were always accidentally firing their nerf guns and he wasn't. :yesway::yesway:

We do this with my grandsons (3 and 5) - they've mastered the Eddie Eagle program already.

They are learning Col. Cooper 4 rules already w/ the nerf guns ... and we limit what they can shoot with them too.

No people, no dogs ... so what do they shoot?

40 yr old little green army men.

Lets just say they are also learning what an A-10 does to non-armoured troops.

    New Nerf Gun - (several)

40 y.o. green army men (minus head, arms, legs) ... yeah we have real casualties here. :)

    Good Job Uncle OWGEM.
