I always thought the M-60 was the most easy straight forward design ever made.Anybody ever detail strip an M-60?
509 was probably the last unit in the army with them in '07.
Reassembling the bolt would always screw people up.

Am I the only one that thinks the mark III is not that bad at all?
No, I also think it's pretty easy. Read the instructions to get it right, then strip it often so you remember how to do it and get good practice. It's really that easy. It also helps if you replace the mag safety with a MKII bushing. This eliminates the stupidity of having a mag safety and it eliminates the need for you to constantly put the mag in, take it out, put it back in while stripping the MKIII. You just pull the trigger when it's time and you're GTG. It also makes your mags drop free.Am I the only one that thinks the mark III is not that bad at all?
No, I have to agree. It is however, a little more difficult that most others I have taken apart and put back together.Am I the only one that thinks the mark III is not that bad at all?
No, you're not the only one. I think I can take mine apart and then reassemble in a matter a couple of minutes. However, mine is broken in.Am I the only one that thinks the mark III is not that bad at all?
