^^^^^ THIS ^^^^^ me too .....^^^^^^This^^^^^^
it isn't the gun that misses it's the person that pulls the trigger. my mk III with a bull barrel is capable of quarter sized groups at 100yrds. but I'm not capable of shooting that.
I bought the Remington 597 V.T.R. (Varmint, target rifle) CS quad rail. Its an uptick of the standard 597 V.T.R. I put an aim sport 4X32 scope on it. Took about 5 minuets to zero it in. Once zeroed you can put every shoot through the same hole. For a .22LR it is on the heavy side which helps with it's accuracy. They sell between $299- $450, pending on where you shop.
Every time I take it to the range everyone wants to shoot it.
