In general I dislike celebrities who express uninformed political opinions. There are a few who really do walk the walk but the vast majority got where they are based on a combination of luck and being attractive. Those aren't good prerequisites policymaking but unfortunately there are tons of people that will listen to someone's opinion and take it to heart just because that person was in a movie or made good music. Remember when they were talking about making Bono president of World Bank?

After reading that article all I can say is the hell with Clint Eastwood. I guess he's another one that seem to be real patriotic. In war movies, a gun totin, horse riding cowboy in movies that made him a star, and a cop with a .44 mag who's not afraid to use it. But in real life he's a freakin hippy?!? Forget him.
