Moose meat ?

Relative gave me a moose roast. They live in Alaska. Looking for suggestions/recipe for it. Crock pot?

Yes! Crock pot with shallots, potatoes and carrots. Beef broth about 3/4 to the top of the roast with about a cup of soy sauce. Salt and pepper to taste.

Brown the roast on each side on a super hot pan or cast iron skillet. No more than 1 min on each side. Leave in the crockpot around 8 hours or so.

Cook like you would any nice cut of beef. Moose is absolutely the best wild game meat, in my opinion. Got any to spare?
