I need to get out more, if the Swine Flu situation progresses to a dangerous level, just what would be the purpose of the military violating the law? Would they be going door to door giving shots according to the list they were given? Would they just be advising people where to go to get the shots, transportation to get to the point of inoculation? Too many posts just saying nothing really concrete, referring to Katrina, blah, blah, blah. Let's get a Job Description on just what said troops were to called upon to do if called in for such an event, then we can proceed from there.

I don't like it, any way it goes. I don't see what business ANYONE has telling me what I should or should not inject into my body (not one of those drug nuts). If I want to take my chances with any flu, its my choice.

This whole thing sounds like (my opinion here) the swine flu didn't turn out to be the crisis they hoped for, so now they have to "restart" it. The whole thing just REEKS to high heaven.

I believe both articles should be read to have enough relevant infomation to form our own opinions.

As far as tin foil hats, I've never been hurt by one. Government healthcare on the other hand, well, that's a different story.

Don't worry, you are NOT required to take any shots. Quarantine's maybe different, but a quarantine for a flu strain? Highly unlikely. If they do so, whatever they are injecting you with isn't just for the flu... Regardless, I will not be taking the shot unless they tranquilze me first.

Also, they are talking about your kids getting the vaccine the first couple weeks of school. If you don't want your kids to get it, make sure to do what I did. Tell your kids to tell them they will not take it and if they try to force them to do so, kick the teacher in the :bigballs: and run for a phone! J/K

So far the only way that is still an accesable loophole is to send in a written statement to the school advising them that vaccinating your child is against your religon. Send the statement the first day of school with your child. Actually you should go with your child and hand deliver it to the school nurse.

I still can't find any laws stating your child MUST be vaccinated. On that same note, I can't find any laws stating they MUST notify you about it either. You'd think they would do it out of Courtesy, but then again, public schools tend to usually only care about one sporting team or another anyway....
