Magnifying Lamp or Glasses for Gunsmiths?

I want to purchase some type of magnification since I am in reading glasses and the additional magnification would be helpful, I think.

My thoughts are I would use it for inspections, cleaning hard to see areas, any metal work(de-horn, etc.).

Do any of you use anything and do you like the glasses better than a lamp clamped onto your workbench?

I actually wear those at work. I have the 1.75 versions.

I have a lamp clamped to my electronics bench with a nice big magnifier on it. Both features at once. When I get the gunsmith/reloading bench set up, I'll have one there as well. They're actually pretty cheap.

Where do you find them? I found one on ebay, but if local for a comparable price, I would like to see it first.

Can't remember where I got the one I have, now that I think of it, but check the office supply places, Office Depot, Staples kind of thing. I'd think they'd have one.

We use these at work. Donegan Optical Company Home Page. I think Brownell's carries them.

I got my magnifying swing-arm lamp, for my electronics bench, from Menards. $40 if memory serves.
