This foreign agency win seems to follow the trend with LE agencies in the US. According to Smith & Wesson's 2010 SEC filing, the M&P platform is now winning LE and security agency contracts at a rate of 80%.

Of all the pistols I have owned and fired, I must say the M&P9 is top 3. glock isnt even ranked in there. maybe it would make top 10 just because of reliability, maybe (and im not a glock hater other than they feel like crap and shoot like crap out of the box).

I shot an M&P for the first time ever last week (.40) & loved it. Shot lights out at 25 yards. My wife doesn't like .40's but does like the 9mm's. I took her to Gander Mountain today & let her fondle the M&P, XD, & SR9 to see which one she liked the best. She picked the M&P hands down. It looks like I'll be heading over to Plainfield for a new purchase soon -for her 9mm, & again later on for my .40.

Went about 2 weeks ago and got the Mrs. an m&p compact 9mm. Had it out a few days ago, and she loved it! She held a dozen other handguns, everything from sig to glocks. M&P felt right to her!
