I'd find a conspicuous place to mount the hulk of the shot up truck. Near a major intersection. Plant four concrete piers at different heights, and then mount the truck so that each pier supports a different wheel such that the worst parts of the truck are angled out for all to see. Down in front, on a large brass plaque would read the words, "This is what the LAPD thinks of Los Angelenos."

I'm not saying you're wrong.
But I think the target is the safest place around those officers.
