Looking for a gunsmith to...

Drill and tap my Mosin for a scope mount on the cheap. If they can add an ATI bolt adapter for it, that would be awesome, too.

They sell a scope mount for the Mosins that replaces the rear sight and no drilling and tapping is required. I will try to find a link to them.

A freind had one of the rear sight mounts. It sucked; bad. I D&T'ed his receiver and usingone of the kits with the scope mount and bolt handles. It was a cheap POS kit and wasn't worth near what he paid for it! We took it out and shot better groups with the irons than we could with the junk scope mount on it. If you really want to get it D&T'ed, checked with Bradis. they hav a gunsmoith, but I've never used him. Honestly, if you get the kit, pretty much any small machine shop should be able to D&T a few holes for you for about $10-20 a hole.

i wouldnt mess with the ATI bolt adapter kit at all.every one ive seen or heard about has been nothing but trouble.id just do some cutting and bending to rig it up if i were you.
