    To turn off Cortana, post anniversary update, you will need to follow the info here: Microsoft makes Cortana unkillable in Windows 10 Anniversary Update -- but you can disable her

    Done. I will never know Cortana now. :(

    I used to be an early adopter to stuff like this, but I've backed off an OS or two in recent years. So far I like the clean simple interface of Win10. I may even break old habits of turning back to "classic" views on most settings.

    As a tech, the best part of Windows 10 to me is the install speed. I have an installer on a USB 3 flash drive. Booting to that via USB 3 on a laptop with an SSD, I was able to install Windows 10 in less then ten minutes. Makes my job easier when I have to format a computer.
