But she makes a great drinking game! A drink for each blink. Do try to keep up....she should put her head in a bag.
like its never happened before
THE recent list fight in the United States Senate, precipitated by Senator Tillman of South Carolina, is one of the most disgraceful episodes that ever took place in the upper branch of Congress. The dastardly attack of Preston S. Brooks, also of South Carolina, upon Senator Charles Sumner of Massachusetts does not afford a parallel.
Personally I'm stoked that the passion is back in congress
It's a shame that the representative made a spectacle of himself. Now the media will focus on his outburst for a few days, instead of the health care problems in this country. Next time you have a guest in your 'house', best not call him/her a liar.

They said on Nightline tonight that calling someone a liar in the chambers is a violation of some procedural rule.
They said on Nightline tonight that calling someone a liar in the chambers is a violation of some procedural rule. LOL I think it's in the same section as the rule against telling the emperor he is naked?

Note: it was a another South Carolina man who "perpetrated" the current hostilities
Folks, if words like this are being exchanged on the floor of Congress, there is no way to heal the divide.
I can think of only two other times in our history that there was such bitterness.
This President is too ego driven to ignore what happened tonight. He'll push now, and get what he wants at any cost, and our Republic will end.
ETA: The Dems will push to punish this guy, the Reps will push back.... and within one to two weeks we could have blows on the House floor. 50/50 it happens.

That goes on in the cloak rooms, off the floor. Been there, seen it.Not sure. I know we are not them, but if you listen to British Parliament, they hurl accusations and banter back and forth in a very high degree of disagreement all the time.
