Very nice wood and blue as they were intended. I have a 39, 39 a golden and two JM 1894 44 mag and JM 1894CB 44 mag. All have served flawlessly always wanted the 38/357 just never got one now they are unattainable for me. On a side note that’s a late JM 1894 probably not to many of those out there as I thought Remington bought them out in 2007. I’ll probably give in and purchase a tiger 336 30/30 as soon as they are released I think that will be the first to come back. And hoping they have the same attention to detail as marlin did.
