So, whenever I go to the range or go shooting at a fields house, I always worry about getting pulled over with a rifle behind my seat. I drive 2 seater sports car (older RX7) and There is literally nowhere a firearm can be stored that isnt in plain view from outside. Since it is a hatchback, there is nothing to seperate the cabin of the car from where I'd store the gun. Is there anything illegal about having the rifle (in a gun sock or soft case) behind my seat unloaded?

    Thank,
    Alex

Or you could disassemble it until it has no parts connected at all, and then put each part in a different part of the car including under the hood and in the spare tire well. But I would just leave it together in the case and not sweat it.

Humor attempt... Please don't take it seriously.

Indy Metro busses...it's against the law to carry weapons aboard. :-(

Apparently one only has a right to defend oneself if one lives in the suburbs or has adequate wealth to own one's own transportation. But, I thought libs were FOR the little guy. ;)
