Reuters is also reporting on this. So far it's a rumor that came out of China. Not sure if it is real that its a good thing. If NK is anything like America, then they'll want someone's head on a platter. If this rumor is true

If it's true it could be really bad especially if the killer(s) was sent by a foreign country (foreign to north korea that is).
It could be bad also if it's just an internal coup d'état and if some north korean general is behind that, but probably worse if a foreign power is behind that.

I heard the original report (rumor) of his death came via tweeter. Not heard any official confirmation.

If he was going to try to normalize relations with the west, it might explain a military coup.

Will wait for official word before I either celebrate or mourn.
