Thanks everyone for the nice greetings.
I guess I should say a little bit more about myself.

I am a retail store manager for one of the large retailers on the eastside. I have lived in Indianapolis now for 11 years, originally from Evansville.
I have been shooting and interested in firearms almost all my life. I grew up going to Daniel Boone Gun Club and Red Brush in Evansville with my father and uncle learning how to shoot.
I started shooting in competitions in 2000. I shot my first IDPA match at Riley Conservation Club which was the classifier. Where I met the now infamous Rhino. After that I shot several of the Nationals and State and Regional matches. If you went to any of the IDPA State or Regional Matches from 2002 to 2004 I was the guy that put on the prize tables. I haven't shot an IDPA match since the Indiana Regional in 2004, where I finished 1st Custom Defensice Pistol Sharpshooter.
After that I started shooting USPSA/IPSC matches, and have only been shooting those for the last 4 years. I am classified as a B class shooter in Limited, Limited 10, Production and Single Stack so far.
I have primarily competed in the Limited 10 division with my trusty custom built Nowlin .45acp that I have had since 2002. This has also been my carry gun for most of the last 5 years as well.
Recently I have been shooting in the Limited division with a Brazo's Custom .40s&w and like it very much. However there is nothing like the feel of the Nowlin and a single stack 45!!!
Over the last 8 years I have tried pretty much everything out there, Beretta's, Para's, Sig's, H&K's, S&W, Glocks, Kimbers, Colt's, Springfields, and CZ's, so if you have a question about something chances are I have had one.
Here is some video's of me shooting USPSA Matches this year:
From this past weekend the Illinois Section Match, this is a stage I won:

From this years Area 5 Championship
shooting Single Stack Division with my Nowlin:

I finished in second place overall.

Area 8 shooting Limited 10 with the trusty old Nowlin:

There are a bunch more on my youtube page if you want to look
(also there are some pictures of some of the guns that I have had over the last couple of years on here:
fortyfiveshooter's photos and albums on webshots )

My goal in shooting USPSA/IPSC matches is to win my classification at the large Area Matches. I have done this in Single Stack at the 2006 Area 5 and just this year I won B class Limited 10 at the Area 3 match. Going forward I plan on only shooting Limited or Limited 10 and moving up from B class to A class and hopefully master (at some point).
I know the only way to do that is start practicing. Setting up real dry fire drills, live fire drills and for me getting quicker and more economical in my movements.

So that is me, my shooting at least anyway. So if you are at a match or if you want to come to a match look me up.

Welcome, Jake! We now have one and two-thirds of a Coach (total) among us!

For those who don't know, Jake is one of the few surviving eye witnesses of The Day the Pants Failed.
